REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP NO. 21-110-1562
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed qualifications/proposals
until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021 for the following:
Forsyth County Planning and Development Department seeks the provision of objective,
third party technical review and analysis of any Conditional Use Permit application
submitted for a wireless communication facility. Review will address the accuracy,
completeness, applicability, and validity of data submitted by the applicant including
review and verification of radio frequency reports, determination of coverage needs and
saturation, and recommendations whether a particular application should be approved,
disapproved or held pending further information based on Unified Development Code
(UDC) 16-2 and other applicable regulations.
The envelopes containing the Proposals must be sealed, addressed to Board of
Commissioners of Forsyth County, GA, delivered to the Forsyth County
Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, GA
30040, and designated as Proposal No. 21-110-1562 in the lower left-hand
corner, including Firm Name. No proposals will be accepted after 2:00 p.m.,
August 26, 2021.
Copies of the solicitation documents may be downloaded for no cost at
www.forsythco.com. Instructions on how to obtain the bid documents are located at the
top of the “Bids & Results” page. If a hard copy is desired from the Forsyth County
Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, GA 30040, Ph.
770-888-8872, there is a non-refundable fee of $30.00 (cash or check to Forsyth County
only).
No Firm may withdraw their Proposal within 90 days after the actual date of the opening,
thereof.
Award of proposal will be made at a later date. The Board of Commissioners reserves the
right to reject any or all proposals. Submitting Firms and the general public are invited to
attend the reading of names of firms submitting proposals at 2:05 p.m., Thursday, July 22
2021 at the Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104,
Cumming, Georgia.
