Bid No. 18-134-1620: Framing and Doors for L.A.R.C. Building

INVITATION TO BID

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. (local time), Thursday, November 15, 2018 for the following:

Providing all labor, materials and equipment for the remodel of the L.A.R.C. Building,

Bid 18-131-1620: Drywall and Paint

Bid 18-133-1620 Carpet

Bid 18-134-1620 Framing and Doors

Bid 18-135-1620 Ceiling Tiles

Contractors may bid on one item or multiple.

MANDATORY PRE-BID FOR ALL TRADES: Thursday, October 25, 2018, 2:00 p.m., 5110 Piney Grove Road, Cumming, GA 30040. All parties must be in attendance within 10 minutes of start time. Only firms attending this meeting will have bids accepted.

The Bidder is required to examine the sites of the proposed work, the Bid Specifications, Supplemental Specifications, Special Provisions, and Contract forms prior to submitting a Bid.

The envelopes containing the Bids must be sealed, addressed to Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, GA, delivered to the Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, GA 30040, and designated as to the appropriate Bid Number in the lower left-hand corner.

No bids will be accepted after 2:00 p.m. (EST), November 15, 2018.

Copies of the bidding documents are available on the Forsyth County website,

www.forsythco.com , go to ‘How do I’ and then click on "Doing Business with the County". Instructions on how to download the documents are located at the top of the "Bids & Results" page. There is no cost to download the documents but if a hard copy is requested from our office there is a non-refundable fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each set of plans and specifications (cash or check made out to "Forsyth County" only).

Success contractor(s) will be required to provide the appropriate insurance certificate showing Forsyth County, GA as an additional insured upon award.

No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening, thereof.

Forsyth County, Georgia hereby gives public notice that: "It is our policy to assure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1965, the Civil Rights Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities."

Award of bid will be made at a later date. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders and the general public are invited to attend the bid opening at 2:05 p.m. (local time), Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, Georgia.
