EMERGENCY REPAIR TO TRAIL AT CHATTAHOOCHEE POINTE PARK
BID NO. 21-113-5211
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021 for the following:
Forsyth County will receive sealed bids for: providing all materials, equipment and labor for the emergency repair of approximately 800 l.f. of soft service trail at Chattahoochee Pointe Park, 5790 Chattahoochee Pointe Drive, Suwanee, GA 30024. Work to include removal of vegetation from trail, correct drainage channels at footbridges, and install 2” of crushed slate to the trail.
ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED BY OCTOBER 8, 2021.
MANDATORY PRE-BID: August 20, 2021, 9:30 a.m. at Chattahoochee Pointe Park. Only firms attending this meeting will have bids accepted. All parties to be present at the meeting within 10 minutes of start time.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure examination of the bid documents and site, no pre-bid meeting is scheduled. Questions shall be submitted to Donna H. Kukarola at dhkukarola@forsythco.com and to be given consideration, must be received by 10:00 a.m. August 23, 2021.
The envelopes containing the Bids must be sealed, addressed to Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, GA, delivered to the Forsyth County Purchasing Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, GA 30040, and designated as Bid No. 21-113-5211 in the lower left-hand corner. No bids will be accepted after 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Copies of the bidding documents may be downloaded at no cost at www.forsythco.com. Instructions on how to obtain the bid documents are located at the top of the “Bids & Results” page. If a hard copy is desired there is a non-refundable fee of $50.00 made payable to Forsyth County Board of Commissioners.
Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a Bid Bond, or a Certified or Cashier's Check to the order of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid and a Consent of Surety form from a surety company licensed to conduct business in the State of Georgia, engaging to furnish, upon award of the Contract, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the completed work and the appropriate insurance certificate.
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening, thereof.
Award of bid will be made at a later date. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders and the general public are invited to attend the bid opening at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 West Maple Street, Suite 104, Cumming, Georgia.
